I had a friend from out of town remark on Facebook about the Burger Spot. It is a small, unassuming shop with a small sign. I probably would not have given it another thought but my friend loved it, so I decided to try it. The burger was huge, it had a wonderful smoky flavor (Chipotle Burger) and was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I was quite impressed with it. Drinks and fries are not included and it is about $9-$15 for just the burger but I thought it was worth it. They also have thick fries, large onion rings, and curly fries as options. The fries were OK but the onion rings were great. Went a second time with the whole family. ~ Damon D

Update 2: We’ve continued going to this place and it continues to be phenomenal. If I could rate again I’d continue giving them 5 stars. They deserve it. Update 1: I want to clarify that we order takes out back to back (Friday and Saturday) and each time our expectations were surpassed. We loved the Smashburger, the BBq, and the bacon cheeseburgers were good. Everyone devoured the food. We tore it up so we didn’t take photos. The strawberry lemonade was good, the flan was average (It isn’t bad but for the price I don’t believe it’s worth buying again). Both times we went to pick up food I could see that patrons looked very happy, they engaged with staff (getting food recommendations), and my experience at the checkout counter was great. The Burger Spot is *THAT* good that we ate it twice in a row. It’s a MUST TRY if you want a good burger. Can’t wait to try something new next time! ~ Roy S

Absolutely incredible! We tried a little bit of everything and every single dish nailed it. The smash burger was amazing, the onion rings were perfectly crisp, and the fish and chips were fantastic. Even the kids' meals were a hit-their burger was cooked just right, the chicken nuggets were great, and the seasoning on all the fries was spot on. On top of the phenomenal food, the staff was incredibly nice and attentive. I honestly wish we lived closer because I would be an avid customer. I recently stopped by and had what are easily the best burgers in town. The food was 10/10 specifically the nacho fries, which were incredibly delicious and came in a very generous portion. What really made the experience stand out was the service. A young man named Tony was running the entire front of the house solo taking orders and waitressing simultaneously. Despite the heavy workload, his attitude was excellent; he was kind, professional, and handled the rush without breaking a sweat. It’s rare to see that level of dedication. ~ NOHORA H

This is such an incredible spot!!! Started with apps; massively impressed. The breading on the avo was so crispy. Nothing was greasy, either!! I saw the Burger of the Month. A glorious stacking of cheese pupusa, cabbage & a sauce I can’t remember but OMG, stunning. I subbed out the meat for the veggie patty & truly this burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. As I was walking out, I saw the fries!!! I def will be back! Might need to fast for a few days but seriously looking forward to it! ~ Ariel W

First time here and they DID NOT disappoint! We entered and they immediately greeted us... we told them it was our first time so they said their most popular burger is the SMASH burger. We ordered that and a blue cheese bacon cheese burger with cheese fries...omggg they were reasonably priced, huge and full of flavor! It was like being at home with ya mom making home made burgers and fries! If you haven't tried them...WHAT YALL WAITING FOR!? we will be back for sure! ~ E. R

Five of us walked in a little before 2pm on a Saturday only waited 15 minutes for the food and it was all great looking, put together with good fresh ingredients and tasted great. Good portions especially for the price, I don't consider $11 a lot for a nice big burger at a sit down joint, and the fries, o-rings and curly fries were all good, too. Wife had the strawberry lemonade and it tasted fresh and was the right amount of tart. Highly recommend. ~ Michael G

Best Burger in Waxahachie & the fries & sides are great too! Very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful counter service! The young man who waited on us was so nice & helpful, that we commented to ourselves that the service was the exact opposite of the terrible, unfriendly and rushed service that we had received just the night before at El Mexicano downtown in Waxahachie. This place is amazing I got the Philly cheesesteak and it is soooo good and don’t even get me started on the French fries they are amazing fried to perfection 😋 I can even say its the best Philly cheesesteak in Waxahachie and the service there is so good they treat you like family or like they already know you the cashier is very very nice and patient I can say The Burger Spot is a 10/10 must try again 🍔🍟 ~ Mely M

Patties seemed like they are made not frozen. If they are I'd be very surprised. Seems like a higher price for burgers and sides, however if you don't have a huge appetite you can share! Patties have a lot of flavor and the big fat fries are still crispy not soggy! In my picture the fires make the burger look small but they're both bigger than many mom and pop places in Wax! My husband and I ordered from here on DoorDash and it didn't disappoint!! My husband said it was a quaint and friendly establishment that appears to be family-owned and run. The burgers were incredible, the portion sizes stellar for the combo price. He impulse bought some chocolate mousse while picking up our order because it looked really tasty (man, was it!). Probably the best burger we've had in Hachie in a long time! Highly recommend ~ Lauren B

I get bacon cheeseburger every single time! It's off the charts good! So big eat 1/2 for lunch & the other half for dinner. Believe it or not, the second time is even better. The flavor just explodes in your mouth! 🥳😄😍 On a side note, hamburger meat usually tears up my stomach, but this meat is really good. I don't have any problems, so it must be top quality. ~ Debi M

If anyone has anything bad to say about this place, they are crazy! The staff if nice as can be and the food was absolutely delicious! The meat is fresh and the sauces are definitely homemade. If my family and I lived closer, we would definitely be frequent flyers to this place. Whether you live in the area or just passing through, you won’t be sorry stopping here for a fantastic bite to eat. ~ Brett W

I ate half of the philly cheese steak before I had to take a picture of this meal. It was the best philly I've had in a very long time. I substituted provolone cheese for the american cheese, and it was so juicy. Husband got the burger and absolutely loved it. He said the meat is delicious and cooked just right. Which is saying alot because he is a very picky burger guy. ~ michelle r

It was my first time coming in here and my server was james and he was amazing! I got the bacon burger and it was delicious it had a lot of flavor to it.I recommend getting the wings I got the buffalo but there is a bunch of more options! I also got the mozzarella sticks and they were amazing! Overall this place was amazing and I will be coming back! ~ Melissa G

I was in town for business and went looking for some BBQ in Waxahachie. I didn’t have success but stumbled on the Burger Spot by chance. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and after a short exchanged decided on the Smash burger with mushrooms added and some onion rings. It was excellent. I also got some flan to go and it was definitely homemade old school flan. I would definitely go again! ~ Frank B

All of the food is great and made fresh. There are almost endless options. My personal favorite are the wings.... So many great savory flavors. I always look forward to eating at this place, especially before getting groceries at the Aldi's nearby. This place is solid every time and has never disappointed. ~ Chad F

Hidden burger spot for sure....the sweet potato fries were amazing and the burger was super fresh. The only thing I'd suggest is not to smash the burger while cooking and let it calibrate so it stays juicy(slightly on dry side). I definitely will be going back! The cashier was super friendly and helpful as well. ~ Tracey S

First time coming here... so much to choose from! I had the Sriracha bacon jam Smashburger.... It was excellent! ...moist with just a little heat paired with sweetness from the caramelized onions. Good music in the background, quiet, clean. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. This will be going on our regular lunch rotation in the future. ~ Chris W

Amazing service and food. I recently have had to make changes to the foods I eat. I cannot have onion, garlic in regular form or as seasonings. They had no problem preparing my food this way. I did a door dash order the next day and they still accommodated me with preparing my order the way I needed. I will for sure be a regular customer. 10/10 ~ dorianna q

Stoped in today to try this establishment I have to say OMG their burgers are hands down the best I have found in waxahachie and the homemade cut fries have been what I have been looking for since I moved here 7 years ago. All I can say is this will be my burger stop from now on. Just fantastic and portions are just great for the price. ~ jack y

This place is incredible. One of the best food spots in Hachie. It’s so incredibly fresh, delicious and unique. Best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. The veggie burger is INSANE. The kids that work here are also amazing. This is a weekly spot for us! ~ Brittany V

The burgers exceeded my expectations; they're super juicy, the vegetables are fresh and crunchy. My husband ordered some wings, and they were also delicious. I really liked the family atmosphere and the service we received. I will definitely return to this place. ~ Alex B

Super easy to call and place a to-go order, very friendly and quick service. Smash burger was amazing, 10/10. Buffalo tenders also amazing, 9/10, only because we wanted more of their sauce, so good. Fried pickles were bomb, homemade ranch was the cherry on top. Definitely coming back! ~ Vic M
